The Clinic

Conceive is a clinic, established by acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist, Claire Battersby, which specialises in gynaecological disorders, infertility, IVF support and pregnancy care.

Although in most cases the principal treatment at Conceive consists of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, Claire and her colleagues work closely with a team of gynaecologists, male infertility experts, doctors, midwives, nutritionists and other complementary health practitioners to offer a truly integrated service. Our aim is to provide you with the best possible treatment for your needs. In many cases, only one therapy may be needed; in some cases, you may benefit from a combination of therapies that work together to address the various aspects of your health. Our integrated approach aims to optimize the overall health and wellbeing of you and your partner, in order to maximize your chances of conception and ensure a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby.
