Acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist
Mariana graduated in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Middlesex University in 2016, and went on to gain a Masters degree in 2017. Her extensive training included Auricular and Body Acupuncture, prescription & dispensing of Chinese Medicinal Herbs, and Tuina massage therapy. She spent hundreds of hours, practising in the pain clinics of several North London Hospitals, in a private healthcare centre, and in a community service for patients recovering from drug and alcohol addictions.
Since graduation, Mariana has been working in private practices across Central and South London, collecting many success stories of patients she has helped to achieve their goals. She has found her passion in gynaecology and fertility, as well as musculoskeletal acupuncture. She is currently spending many out-of-work hours expanding her knowledge and updating it with the latest research in these areas, to be able to deliver the most effective treatments possible.
Mariana is a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC). She has an avid interest in exercise and nutrition and is keen on sharing the benefits of active and balanced lifestyle to her patients, family and friends. Mariana also spends some of her time volunteering for the World Medicine project at the Grenfell site, delivering auricular acupuncture for the relief of anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
